Benvenuti agli atleti canottieri!
Ogni sport ha il suo fascino, i suoi rituali, il suo gergo, le attrezzature, le tecniche.
Tutti hanno in comune la salute, il movimento, la fatica, la prestazione, la sfida.
In questi giorni assistiamo a delle competizioni Mondiali, gli atleti qui giunti rappresentano il meglio del loro Paese, l’eccellenza nella disciplina a cui hanno dedicato tanto tempo e passione.
Sono ancora giovani, Under 19 e Under 23 le categorie presenti, ma in qualche misura sono già uomini e donne, maturi nell’ambizione, nel sacrificio, nei valori di onestà e rispetto.
A questi giovani lasciamo il domani, con la speranza che possano migliorare quanto noi abbiamo incautamente sciupato o sprecato.
Ci auguriamo che in questa settimana ognuno possa vivere una grande emozione, un’esperienza memorabile che porterà nel cuore nei prossimi
anni.
A tutti questi Atleti, al loro Entourage, ai Familiari, vogliamo dire Grazie.

Welcome to the rowing athletes!
Every sport has its charm, its rituals, its jargon, its equipment, its techniques. All have in common health, movement, fatigue, performance, challenge.
In these days we are witnessing World competitions, the athletes here represent the best of their country, the excellence in the discipline to which they have dedicated so much time and passion.
They are still young, Under 19 and Under 23 categories present, but to some extent they are already men and women, mature in ambition, sacrifice, values of honesty and respect.
To these young people we leave tomorrow, with the hope that they can improve what we have recklessly wasted or wasted.
We hope that in this week everyone can live a great emotion, a memorable experience that will bring to the heart in the coming years.
